Both can be detailed cleans, but one prepares a home for your standards while the other documents a tenancy handover scope.
Bond or end-of-lease cleaning
A bond clean focuses on leaving a rental in the condition required by the tenancy agreement, allowing for fair wear and tear. The agent's checklist, entry condition report and current Queensland tenancy guidance are important reference points. Optional services such as carpets, pest treatment, walls and external windows should be stated separately.
Move-in cleaning
A move-in clean is chosen by the incoming occupant. It may prioritise sanitising kitchens and bathrooms, inside cabinets and wardrobes, appliance interiors and surfaces that will soon be covered by belongings. It is not automatically tied to a former tenant's bond requirements.
Choose based on the outcome
Use the tenancy documents and request an end-of-lease scope.
Build a move-in list around hygiene and empty-property access.
Ask for pre-sale presentation rather than assuming a bond package.
Quote the two properties separately; their goals and condition differ.
Information every quote needs
Share bedroom and bathroom count, furnished status, property condition, access, deadline, appliances, carpets, windows, outdoor areas and photos. Ask for a written inclusion list and clarify who handles any return visit.
