Use this checklist to plan the clean, prepare a provider brief and review the property before returning the keys.
Start with the entry condition
Queensland's Residential Tenancies Authority says tenants should leave the property in the same condition as at the start of the tenancy, less fair wear and tear. The RTA also states that tenants may clean themselves or engage a professional company.

- □Dishwasher and appliance spaces
- □Floors, skirting and marks
Bathrooms
- □Shower screens, tiles and grout
- □Bath, basins, taps and mirrors
- □Toilet and surrounding floor
- □Cabinets, exhaust and fixtures
- □Remove soap residue and grime
Bedrooms & living areas
- □Wardrobes, shelves and tracks
- □Fans, lights and air-conditioning vents
- □Windows, sills and tracks
- □Skirting boards, doors and switches
- □Vacuum and mop appropriate floors
Outside & final checks
- □Balcony, garage or nominated outdoor areas
- □Remove rubbish and possessions
- □Return furniture to agreed position
- □Photograph the completed condition
- □Complete the exit condition report

- List separate services.Carpets, pest treatment and external windows may not be included.
